The Opportunity

As a Yoga Instructor at Chelsea Piers Fitness youll guide members through intentional classes that build strength balance and calm. Our state-of-the-art studios and supportive community give you the opportunity to share your practice inspire consistency and help members connect body mind and breath.

Schedule: Part-Time must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule includingweekend holiday and early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability.

Compensation: $50 - $75 per hour depending on experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead inspiring safe and inclusive yoga classes that align with Chelsea Piers Fitness standards and community culture.
• Provide intelligent sequencing and mindful cueing for all levels including modifications and advancements.
• Create a welcoming and grounded environment focused on physical mental and emotional wellbeing.
• Encourage consistent practice and member retention through authentic connection and personal engagement.
• Support promotional efforts by participating in community events and maintaining an active social media presence.

Qualifications

• 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification required (500 hour is preferred)
• At least 2 years of teaching yoga classes preferred.
• CPR & AED Certification
• Knowledge of anatomy alignment and mindfulness-based practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable with ability to attend all scheduled hours.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 45 pounds or appropriate weight to lead class
