Your Role...

Overall Purpose and Main Objectives:

The Search Engine Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns and organic search engine optimization (SEO) for Blick Art Materials, Utrecht Art Supplies, and other entities. This position will report directly to the Search Engine and Web Analytics Manager and collaborates closely with cross-functional marketing team members to drive traffic, brand visibility, and performance through paid and organic search programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation, execution, and optimization of pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing), and Meta Ads.
• Monitor daily and weekly campaign budgets, bids, and pacing to ensure campaigns are meeting ROI goals.
• Help write, test, and refine ad copy to improve CTR and conversion rates.
• Perform on-page SEO tasks such as updating meta tags, headers, and content to align with SEO best practices.
• Assist with keyword research and content recommendations to support organic growth.
• Monitor and report on SEO KPIs using tools like Brightedge, Google Search Console, and Excel.
• Stay up to date with the latest PPC and SEO algorithm changes and best practices.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reporting, performance analysis, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Assist in additional marketing projects as assigned, including the affiliate program and internal site search.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field required.
• This is an entry level position, 3 or less years of previous work and/or internship experience.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights are required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting are required.
• Proficiency with analytical platforms like Google Analytics and Google Ads is a plus.
• Experience using different search engines, including Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo.
• Comfortable working with senior level management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Interest in or knowledge of the arts, art education, or art materials a plus.

Pay Rate:

The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

• $50,000 to $60,000 per year + Incentives
