We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to oversee and support the operations of a 17-unit affordable housing complex in Oakland, California. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to manage tenant relationships, coordinate property maintenance, and handle administrative tasks in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The role is part-time and includes flexible hours, with potential onsite living arrangements available.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform administrative duties such as managing documentation, correspondence, and reports using tools like Microsoft Office.
• Maintain strong communication with tenants, including Spanish-speaking residents, to foster positive relationships.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to oversee property upkeep and handle maintenance requirements.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the property to ensure efficiency and compliance with housing regulations.
• Support the transition of responsibilities from the current Property Manager to ensure seamless property management.
• Monitor property conditions and coordinate necessary repairs or improvements.
• Ensure adherence to affordable housing standards and guidelines.
• Manage tenant onboarding processes, including lease agreements and orientation.
• Provide occasional availability for weekend or after-hours needs as required.• Previous experience in property management, affordable housing, or administrative roles is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for managing documentation and communications.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants and stakeholders.
• Ability to work within flexible hours and adapt to occasional after-hours requirements.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address tenant concerns and property-related challenges.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with property management software, such as Yardi, is preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining affordable housing standards and tenant satisfaction.
