Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced MRI technologist skilled in advanced imaging techniques and patient care across all age groups. This contract position offers the chance to work in a busy acute care setting equipped with state-of-the-art MRI technology, including GE Architect 3T, GE Artist 1.5T, and Siemens Sola 1.5T wide bore scanners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics.
  • Administer imaging safely to patients with anesthesia, pediatric sedations, ventilator support, and those with MR conditional devices.
  • Manipulate scan parameters using SAR and B1+RMS guidance to accommodate conditional implants such as pacemakers, ICDs, and stimulators.
  • Operate multiple scanner types efficiently across various shifts.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team in a 24/7 department, adhering to strict scheduling and attendance protocols, including holiday rotations and backup on-call duties.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and imaging standards.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Registered MRI technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; first-time travelers welcome.
  • Proficient with GE and Siemens MRI systems.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Skilled in trauma level 2 imaging and acute care protocols.
  • Expertise in scanning patients with anesthesia, pediatric sedation, and critical care needs.
  • Ability to follow complex imaging conditions for MR conditional implants.

Schedule:

  • Night shifts, 3x12-hour rotations from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday.
