A bit about us:

This company has been around for decades and has built a solid reputation. They provide commercial construction services across the Philadelphia suburbs and have an opening in their roofing division. Projects include large commercial replacement and new construction, and HOA based residential work along with multifamily roofing.

This company provides a gas card, company phone, and company vehicle for this position. This role manages multiple projects at a time and will require physically getting onto roofs from time to time with your field teams. Estimating is not the primary role in this position but you will oversee all operations in the projects you are assigned.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As the Lead Project Manager - Commercial Roofing, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing multiple commercial and multifamily roofing projects from inception to completion.
2. Providing accurate and competitive project estimates and bids.
3. Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
4. Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
5. Overseeing all stages of the roofing construction process, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
6. Identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks and issues that could impact project deliverables.
7. Coordinating and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
8. Regularly monitoring and reporting on project progress to senior management.
9. Implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and quality of work.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Lead Project Manager - Commercial Roofing role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the commercial roofing industry.
2. Proven experience in managing multiple commercial and multifamily roofing projects.
3. Strong knowledge and understanding of roofing construction, including the ability to provide accurate estimates.
4. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage risks and issues.
6. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
9. Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP), would be an advantage.
