Job Title: Kitchen and Bath Interior Design Assistant & Showroom Attendant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bath Interior Design Assistant & Showroom Attendant to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in assisting with design appointments, maintaining strong customer relations, and providing exceptional service to clients in our showroom. The ideal candidate will have experience with 2020 Design software, a strong background in interior design, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the interior design team in all aspects of kitchen and bath design.

  • Meet with clients to discuss project goals, preferences, and design needs.

  • Assist in selecting materials, finishes, and products for design projects.

  • Utilize 2020 Design software to create layout plans, renderings, and design concepts.

  • Prepare and organize design documentation, including quotes, proposals, and project timelines.

  • Maintain excellent customer relations by providing consistent communication and support throughout the design process.

  • Handle client inquiries, including emails, phone calls, and walk-in appointments.

  • Ensure the showroom is well-organized, clean, and stocked with up-to-date samples and materials.

  • Support the showroom manager with day-to-day operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client interactions.

  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, products, and technologies in the kitchen and bath industry.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in interior design, specifically in kitchen and bath design.

  • Proficiency in 2020 Design software for creating layouts and 3D renderings.

  • Strong customer service experience with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Knowledge of design materials, products, and industry standards.

  • A positive, professional, and friendly attitude with a passion for helping clients create their dream spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.

  • Previous experience in a showroom or design studio environment.

  • Familiarity with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in the showroom.

  • Capability to lift and carry design samples, materials, and product catalogs as needed.
