Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician Our manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing setting, though experience in the following mechanical trades will also be considered: heavy or industrial machine mechanic (forklift, construction machinery, truck mechanic, boat mechanic). Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on various machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues. Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Rebuild and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed. Use basic welding skills to repair and fabricate machine parts. Apply basic mechanical engineering knowledge to improve machine performance and efficiency. Sewing machine repair experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in English (verbal and written) for effective communication and following precise instructions. Must have a current and valid driver's license. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
