Job Description:

Position Overview

• We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer to enhance and maintain the visual and functional experience of our markdown and CSS-based documentation site.
• This role will also support the team in generating new content, ensuring consistency, usability, and a professional look across internal platforms including SharePoint and PowerPoint presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Maintenance: Update and refine the look and feel of our markdown/CSS-based documentation site to ensure a clean, intuitive, and modern user experience.
• Content Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to facilitate the creation and integration of new content.
• Cross-Platform Design: Create and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly SharePoint sites and PowerPoint decks that align with our branding and communication goals.
• Version Control: Use GitHub for basic version control tasks such as cloning, committing, and pushing updates to documentation repositories.
• User Experience Advocacy: Champion best practices in UI/UX design, accessibility, and responsive design across all platforms.
• Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from team members to continuously improve the usability and aesthetics of documentation and collaboration tools.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and Markdown for web-based documentation.
• Familiarity with GitHub for basic version control and collaboration.
• Strong skills in SharePoint site design and PowerPoint presentation development.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience
• Experience working with technical or data-focused teams.
• Familiarity with documentation generators (e.g., MkDocs, Docusaurus) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or front-end frameworks is a bonus.
