This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

3- 12 hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Every other weekend required on Saturday and Sunday.

\n\nJob Description\n

The PCU/Tele Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. The unit consists of a 20-bed private room area and a 22-bed unit with both private and semi-private rooms. The role includes monitoring patients with telemetry and performing necessary interventions as needed.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Manage patient care effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
\n
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
\n
• Conduct and document patient assessments and care activities.
\n
• Offer support and education to patients and their families.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
\n
• Must be a registered nurse with valid state licensure.
\n
• Previous experience in PCU/Tele nursing preferred.
\n
