Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a Bariatric Surgical Unit in Florida, requiring a FL or Compact RN license and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is on a Bariatric Surgical Unit within a hospital setting
• Telemetry monitoring and care for bariatric post-surgical patients
• 12-hour day shifts, 06:45 to 19:15
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Requires availability for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Day
• All travelers must provide two professional references and a copy of their driver’s license
• Applicants must comply with facility radius rule; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Must be open to working assigned holidays and every other weekend
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Only one position submission allowed system-wide

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active FL or Compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
