Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Massachusetts requiring strong tele and float experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a hospital Med/Surg unit with 20 to 34 beds depending on unit
• Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:6
• Personal scrubs of any color are permitted
• Willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit is required
• Position requires Meditech Expanse EMR experience is strongly preferred
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• Must be willing to float to any Med/Surg unit as needed
• Holiday coverage requires working one of the following: Christmas Eve/Day and following Friday/weekend, or New Year's Eve/Day and following Friday/weekend
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted and must be declared prior to acceptance
• Scheduling or RTO requests will not be approved after offer
• Personal transportation is required for assignment
• Personal address must be included for eligibility verification

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MA RN license must be in hand at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years current Med/Surg experience required
• Prior tele experience required
• Completion of basic dysrhythmia course strongly required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required in hand at time of consideration
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Applicants must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility
