\n\nJob Details:
\n• Level I trauma center emergency department position
\n• Patient ratios range from 1:5-6 during days, potentially up to 1:8 during high volume periods and holidays
\n• Night ratios range from 1:4-7
\n• Must work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule
\n• May be scheduled to work 1, 2, or all 3 weekend days
\n• Floating required to Pediatric ED when necessary
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving/Day After, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
\n• Traveler may request one holiday off
\n• RTO blocked during 11/28-11/30, 12/19-12/21, 12/26-12/28
\n• Maximum 5-day RTO policy per contract
\n• 36-hour orientation required with 5 hours of non-billable modules
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH, Michigan state license
\n• ENPC preferred
\n• Minimum 2 years experience required
\n• Level I trauma experience required
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
\n• Daily census approximately 250 patients
\n• 100-bed emergency department
\n• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)

The facility maintains high-volume emergency services with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The emergency department is designed to handle complex trauma cases and provides specialized care across multiple medical specialties.
