Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 26-week evening shift contract requiring ARRT or ARMRIT certification, Phillips MRI experience, and recent Epic use.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is based in a hospital imaging department
• Work involves MRI scanning on Phillips equipment
• Adult and possibly pediatric patient population
• Evening 8-hour shifts with schedule flexibility required
• Must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
• Expected to work every other weekend, with 1-2 weekends per month minimum
• No call responsibilities
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Position starts with a bi-weekly orientation
• No block scheduling is available for any reason
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained when submitting work history
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible
• Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during November through April
• Must be flexible with scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs

\n \n Requirements\n

• Current BLS certification is required
• ARRT or ARMRIT MRI advanced licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year MRI technology experience required
• Phillips MRI equipment experience is required
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting is required
• Prior travel assignment experience is preferred
• License required if applicable
