1. Supervise laboratory personnel, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. 
2. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to promote team productivity. 
3. Manage and prioritize toxicology testing workflows to meet turnaround times and maintain high-quality output. 
4. Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory control, and supply procurement to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations. 
5. Implement and monitor quality control and assurance programs to maintain compliance with ASCP, CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards. 
6. Address nonconformance and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy and reliability in testing. 
7. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements, including CLIA and CAP guidelines. 
8. Prepare the laboratory for inspections and audits and maintain all necessary documentation. 
9. Evaluate and integrate new toxicology instruments, assays, and technologies to enhance laboratory capabilities. 
10. Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic decisions for laboratory growth and service expansion. 
11. Oversee the interpretation of toxicology results and preparation of comprehensive reports. 
12. Analyze laboratory performance data and implement process improvements where needed.
