Job Description

Alderson Loop is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Business Analyst to join a project with a leading payroll and benefits company. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in API integrations. This role will involve a significant amount of technical analysis and collaboration to drive new feature development and improve business relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Analysis and Project Management:
• Perform detailed technical analysis of data and system integrations.
• Manage and communicate project progress to various business areas.
• Work closely with micro teams consisting of analysts, developers, and QA professionals to reduce communication gaps and enhance collaboration.
• API Integration:
• Focus primarily on API interfaces to external vendors and third-party services.
• Work extensively with .NET and API services for integration projects.
• Feature Development:
• Lead the development of new features, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with the lead architect and support micro teams on technical projects.
• Business Engagement:
• Enhance the engagement and communication between IT and business leads.
• Foster positive relationships and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT group’s interactions with the business.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment.
• Proven track record of successful technical analysis and project delivery.
• Experience with API integrations, particularly for third-party vendors.
• Background in payroll and benefits is highly preferred.
• Ability work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience leading teams is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in API and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of SQL and querying within SQL databases (T-SQL, MongoDB is a plus).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with Scrum is preferred.
