Overview Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Semiconductor (Nvidia, Intel, AMD) at Anduril Industries. This role is the domain expert for semiconductor commodities, responsible for securing critical components, materials, and services that power Anduril products. You will develop new supplier and sourcing partnerships for both new and existing products to improve technology, cost, and quality, with broad cross-functional collaboration to evaluate supplier opportunities while ensuring commercial agreements, intellectual property, and statements of work are accurate before pipelining. What You'll Do Develop and execute commodity strategies for semiconductors, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts, when needed, at the right cost Act as the sourcing expert for semiconductor manufacturing Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes for semiconductor Own the business relationship with external contract manufacturers and manage continuity of supply, risk, cost negotiations, and NPI to MP operation execution Partner with Engineering and Contract Manufacturers to influence design specs and customize product/manufacturing requirements Perform detailed analysis of quote submissions, conduct deep dives into the supply chain, and make data-driven decisions based on total cost of ownership Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support prototype requirements and build milestones, leading sourcing activities Influence contract manufacturers’ manufacturing processes, CapEx, and technology decisions Negotiate key supplier agreements to establish favorable pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms Negotiate, collaborate internally, and resolve issues; advance new supplier or product offerings Provide technical direction within commodities and guide product strategy throughout the lifecycle Manage and lead efforts to develop and adapt technologies for Anduril Develop and execute commercial agreements reflecting project expectations (fixed and variable costs, lead times, schedules, capacities, etc.) Conduct regular technology reviews for executive staff and management Own supplier performance management for respective commodities (delivery, quality, cost, innovation) Serve as primary escalation point for the commodity Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field 5+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of semiconductor manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Ability to relocate, if not already local, to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industry Well-versed in total cost of ownership analysis to enable data-driven component and supplier selection Strategic thinker with experience creating commodity strategy/roadmap with engineering stakeholders Proven leadership and collaboration across teams and levels Willingness to wear multiple hats and be a strong team player Ability to fill gaps and remove roadblocks across cross-functional areas Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance Salary & Benefits US Salary Range: $128,000 – $192,000 USD.
