Job Details

We are seeking a Permanent Preconstruction Manager with a focus on Healthcare and Commercial Projects to join our dynamic and innovative team. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in preconstruction planning and healthcare construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare estimating, preconstruction planning, and senior project management. The Preconstruction Manager will play a critical role in our organization, leading the preconstruction efforts for healthcare and commercial projects, and providing strategic direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead all preconstruction efforts for healthcare and commercial projects, including but not limited to, feasibility studies, cost estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and risk management.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
3. Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, schedules, and work plans.
4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that designs are in compliance with project objectives, company standards, and client expectations.
5. Provide strategic direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development through final execution.
6. Facilitate project turnover meetings and coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth transitions from preconstruction to construction phases.
7. Continually monitor industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare construction, with a strong focus on preconstruction planning and estimating.
2. Proven track record as a senior project manager in the construction industry, preferably with experience in healthcare and commercial projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
