Job Description

TeleSolv Consulting has a great opportunity for you to work with the Federal Government as a Senior Open-Source Analyst. This position is an on-site position in Washington, DC/Ashburn, VA.

The Senior Open-Source Analyst will be responsible for supporting the tasks below:

• Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.
• Provides all source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
• Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
• Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• Active Top-Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must possess experience utilizing Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools
• Experience working with problem sets like crypto/virtual assets
• Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media
• Must have familiarization using Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with accessing, researching, and exploiting global and regional social media and digital platforms
• Must have experience with conducting Open-Source research, all-source intelligence analysis, or targeting
• Knowledge of advanced Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, advanced research techniques, search engine and database resources, and Internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial and industry-based databases

Background Investigation:

This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
