POSITION OVERVIEW

WSS is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Finance team. As the Senior Analyst of Company Planning, you will play an essential role in supporting Company Planning to maintain an accurate and detailed Sales and Margin forecast. You will use KPIs and data-driven analysis to provide insights and recommendations that will help forecast and grow the business, as well as improve spend efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Planning, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) functions to forecast and recap the business including promotions, changes in seasonality, and events. The ideal candidate is eager to learn; can manage, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced work environment; has intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic; and takes pride in his/her work. This role reports to the Manager of Company Planning and sits within the Finance organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but not limited to the following):

• Perform analysis of business performance both to plan and prior year
• Develop Excel models and processes to ensure data influences decisions at all levels of Sales, Margin, and KPI forecasting
• Use SQL to manipulate large data sets, delivering ad hoc analysis, as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to communicate key data insights that will enable business growth and influence efficient spending
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to become a key thought partner to Marketing, Planning, Strategy and other cross functional stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business initiatives to drive continuous improvement
• Provide analytical guidance using Traffic, Conversion, and Customer KPIs to define success

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail finance and/or planning required.
• Intermediate Excel and SQL knowledge and experience required.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, project management, and KPI forecasting.
• Must have a data driven approach to solving problems & creating solutions.
• Excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
