A healthcare professional with registered nursing credentials is needed for a school-based contract position in Philadelphia, PA. This role supports the health and wellbeing of students by providing comprehensive nursing care within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer health assessments, screenings, and treatments according to established school health protocols
• Manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses for students during school hours
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individual healthcare plans
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide health education and counseling to students and staff as appropriate
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Experience working as a nurse in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent health issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, families, and school personnel
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
