The Ortho RN will work on a 38-bed unit providing nursing care on night shifts. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience and includes working every third weekend. The RN will float to other Med Surg departments as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to orthopedic patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to other Med Surg departments as needed.
- Perform PICC Line Management.
- Start IVs.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in Cerner.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Minimum 2 years of Ortho RN experience.
- BLS certification.
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
- Telemetry experience.
- Cerner experience.
- Previous travel experience.
Special Considerations:
- Will work every third weekend.
- No on-call requirements.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- No radius restrictions.
- RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days.
Scheduling:
- 4x12 or 3x12 night shifts (1845-0715).
- Shifts are determined by the facility.
