Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance. Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security enhancements. (Satellite) Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Create 'golden' system images. Install and configure Linux OS using Satellite or CD. Container setup and deployment. Container administration. Build automated systems. Ansible automation of tasks. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). User Account Management: Setup user accounts and SUDO access. Setup group access. Implement security policies to protect sensitive data. Maintain Security: FireEye. Networking: Setup bonding and EtherChannel’s. Work with networking to resolve issues. Backups and Monitoring: Work with the backup team to back up the OSs. Work with the monitoring team to set up alerting for the OSs. Containerization: Maintain containered environments. Migrate applications to Linux containers.
