Quality Manager | Coopersville, MI

Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality control activities from incoming materials to finished product release.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits (e.g., supplier, customer, certification).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Manage quality documentation, records, and specifications in compliance with industry standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality procedures, standards, and tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) implementation and auditing.
• Strong proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience implementing or managing advanced QMS software solutions
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification
