Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a psychiatry clinical pharmacy specialist.
Position Details: The psychiatry clinical pharmacy specialist will provide pharmaceutical care services to inpatients with psychiatric consult services at Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC). This position is aimed at enhancing the multidisciplinary approach to care and optimizing medication therapy for adult and youth patients with complex mental health needs.

This role will also focus on developing learning experiences for pharmacy students and post-graduate pharmacy residents. Additionally, there will be reliance on this role to provide education to pharmacy staff and various multidisciplinary providers about various nuances of psychotropic medications, monitoring needs, and general treatment guidance to help support and enhance impact of psychotropic stewardship efforts. Although most consults will be for adult patients, there is the potential for pediatric or adolescents with the mixed patient population on the PRMC campus.
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position with every 4th weekend coverage covering adult internal medicine and no evenings. Inpatient services include extensive interdisciplinary rounding, graduate medical education engagement, and surgical/critical care and oncology satellite pharmacies.
