Job Summary The Project Coordinator will independently manage multiple administrative and management tasks, providing proficient support to Nobel Laureate Professor Michael Kremer. The role involves managing complex administrative tasks, travel arrangements, coordinating high-priority meetings, and ensuring seamless communication. The position requires professionalism, discretion, organization, and proactive service delivery. This is a hybrid role based in Washington D.C. Responsibilities Manage email communications and respond or coordinate responses with relevant team members. Organize speaking and media requests for events, including high-level policy and government interactions. Maintain Faculty’s website, course sites, and special research websites. Handle confidential materials and situations. Coordinate events, logistics, and support presentations and outreach efforts. Manage Faculty’s calendar, resolving conflicts and scheduling meetings. Support research projects by proofreading and editing papers and reports. Assist Faculty’s job market candidates during the job application process. Stay informed of university activities and facilitate information flow. Prepare institutional documents and letters of recommendation. Support lecture material creation and schedule Zoom classes. Manage transcription of voice recordings and oversee a team of transcribers. Manage Faculty’s finances, travel reimbursements, and inventory. Coordinate international travel arrangements and procure necessary documents. Assist with funding research, grant proposals, and editing written materials. Perform other administrative tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications College or university degree in a related field. Work Experience Less than 2 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in project management. High-level administrative support background. Technical Skills Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, Adobe, and Asana. IT troubleshooting skills and high-touch support. Knowledge of university financial systems, including GEMS and Buysite. Experience supporting research projects or as a research/teaching assistant in economics. Preferred Competencies Strong communication skills. Project management skills. Ability to handle a heavy workload and tight deadlines. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in teams. Interpersonal skills for diverse environments. Proactive and judgment skills for problem-solving. Working Conditions In-office with some remote work based on schedule.
