The Tuckahoe Family YMCA is looking for an energetic, positive role model for our STAR (Strengthening Teens Academically and Recreationally) outreach after school program at Quioccasin Middle School. Candidates need to be available Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday afternoons from 3-5:30pm, totaling 8 hours each week. Bilingual candidate strongly preferred. This part time position starts at $15.00 per hour.
DUTIES for the STAR Outreach Program
Foster an inclusive environment, monitor student attendance and behavior, assist with set up and clean up each day, communicate with program staff, build positive relationships with students and support tutors and students during session.
QUALIFICATIONS for the STAR Outreach Program
Candidates must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of programmatic experience and dual language would be a plus but not necessary.
