About Softbank : Softbank is making significant investments in infrastructure for AI. Softbank Corp. has recently established a new US center in Silicon Valley, focused on infrastructure software for AI and AI foundations for mobile networks. Our goals are to challenge the norms and create products making use of our SOTA infrastructure (like Nvidia MGX, DGX Grace & Hopper platforms, and beyond) and cloud-native software. These products are geared towards centralized AI data centers as well as distributed AI Radio Access Network (AI RAN) data centers. We are looking for expert practitioners who are inspired to bring innovation and build transformative products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in hands-on product management, leading high-impact software infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience working with platforms and distributed systems, including AI or machine learning workloads.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on systems, systems SW, AI infrastructure or applied AI.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep experience in outbound product development including positioning, developer engagement, competitive analysis and GTM strategy.
• Deep product development experience including defining and owning Customer User Journeys, PRD, Roadmap etc.
• Product experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure. Strong understanding of GPU systems and high-performance computing environments.
• Experience in defining and launching scalable infrastructure to support AI workloads is a big plus.

About the Role: This role is a combination of Outbound Product Development and Developer Advocacy. As a Product Advocate for Infrastructure Software for AI, you will be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for outbound product tasks including positioning, competitive analysis and Go-To-Market Strategy based on deep engagement with developers and enterprises. Your work shapes the product launch and strategic differentiation and is directly input to the senior management. Your work influences a core team of engineers to build the next generation of software systems that support AI workloads (training, fine-tuning, and inferencing). You will work closely with engineering teams, program management, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive the commercialization of infrastructure products that power AI applications at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Own market research, competitive analysis and product positioning. Author and maintain product specifications.
• Provide the MRD and PRD funnel, collaborate with engineering to distill roadmap features
• Engage with developer teams and enterprise customers, conduct hands-on sessions, evangelize the product to stakeholders.
• Work closely with program management to drive product execution schedules.
• Attract, develop, and inspire new talent.
• Role model and foster a culture of humility and innovation for product delivery.

Salary & Benefits: The base salary for this position ranges from ($150,000-$250,000), with additional attractive biannual bonus, benefits and opportunity to work with a great team in Sunnyvale downtown.
