Position- Patient care technician

Location- Concord, MA, 01742

Facility - Emerson Hospital

Shift- Days, 7:00AM to 7:30 PM, 48 hours/week, every other weekend, every other holiday.

Assignment Length- 13 weeks



Pay:- Gross Weekly - $1260 for 48 hours, W2- $16/hr, Per Diem- $420/week


Overtime rate(after 48 hours):- $25/hour


Job Requirements:-

• Acute care experience required
• BLS (AHA)
• CNA preferred.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Assists with patient transport, transfers, and activities of daily living while ensuring safety and responding promptly to patient or family requests.
• Obtains, documents, and reports vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose results, promptly notifying nursing staff of abnormal findings.
• Administers oxygen therapy, applies patient monitoring devices, and performs ECGs and other clinical support procedures as directed.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition, collaborating effectively with the RN, Charge RN, and other healthcare team members.
• Participates in educational programs, unit projects, and floats to various departments while performing assigned unit-related tasks.
• Maintains patient rights, privacy, and dignity while contributing to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care.
