Role: Part-Time School Cleaner

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Location: 250 Lloyd Ave Providence RI 02906

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to join our team in ensuring our facilities are clean and safe for staff and students. Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks in assigned areas following quality and safety guidelines.
• Utilize protective gear during cleaning processes.
• Complete cleaning assignments in a timely manner.
• Notify supervisors regarding equipment or cleaning supply needs.
• Dust mop and damp mop various floors, including classrooms and common areas.
• Sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and communal spaces.
• Manage trash removal and waste disposal duties as needed.
• Respond promptly to paging system alerts and maintenance requests.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions to maintain a healthy environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a school environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.
• Willingness to consistently perform routine tasks.
• Ability to complete assigned duties independently after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by local, state, and/or customer guidelines.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
