Job SummaryWe are looking for a friendly, caring, and adaptable person who is VERY comfortable with computer and phone skills. Patient Account Management, including payments, insurance verification, authorizations and knowledge of basic billing information is Required. Primarily in our Ronkonkoma Location but flexible enough to help at times in Smithtown or Speonk locations if needed. We are looking for a Team player who can assist the Rehabilitation Director in supporting all three practices as needed.No weekends required.This is a flexible position which will deal mostly with computers, phone calls, digital faxing, emails, entering/managing patient information, therapist communication and other administrative tasks. Insurance Verification, Authorizations, and Patient Account Management experience is Required. Friendly, family type work environment. Most work will be at our Administrative office in Ronkonkoma.Physical Therapy and/or Medical Reception/Insurance Coordination experience is REQUIRED (2+ Years)Experience with Patient Account Management, including payments, insurance verification, authorizations and knowledge of basic billing information is Required. Firm understanding of how insurance works (co-payment, deductibles, etc) is also a must. This is a Part-Time position with potential to grow as the Company continues to grow. Starting pay is based on experience.
