This position requires consistent attendance and punctuality, with full-time hours dependent on reliability, performance, and job-site needs; work hours may fluctuate due to seasonality, and employment is subject to a 90-day probation period to assess adherence to attendance and performance expectations.
Position Summary:
Installs proprietary foam insulation in walls of existing homes using truck-based pumping system
Installs loose, blown-in fiberglass insulation or batt insulation in Attic, Crawl-Spaces, or other areas of home as necessary.
Installs ventilation and other peripheral products in homes
Handles all maintenance of equipment and tools
Conducts general jobsite cleanliness and safety
Essential functions:
Able to be a productive member of a team on the jobsite
Self-motivated to perform at a high level
Ability to work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
Ability to work in the hot and cold Midwest weather
Able to work on ladders (up to 28ft)
Able to work with hand tools
Able to work with drills, pumps and all equipment necessary for installing insulation
Keep home clean during and after installation (inside and out)
Educate customers on service and installation features
Pride self on high quality installations and do the job right the first time
Provide all customers with excellent customer service
Follow all Policies and Procedures of USA Insulation while on duty
Qualifications:
Construction experience is highly desired but not necessary
Strong commitment to customer service and doing what’s right for both the company and the customer
Working knowledge of siding, home building, drills, pumps, and hand tools
Ability to troubleshoot product and installation problems
Requirements:
Must have valid state drivers license
Must be on time each and every day (7:15am)
Non-negligent driving record
Must be able to speak English
Must show up on time each and every day
Physical exam (275 lbs. weight limit in working clothes & safety gear)
Able to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
We do run background checks before hiring
Installers must possess good organization and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
