Minimum Qualifications Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of previous recruitment experience Position Summary The UHR Talent & Recruiting - Recruiter will contribute to the recruiting and sourcing initiatives of the Talent & Recruiting department. This role involves acting as a liaison between University Human Resources (UHR) and leaders and candidates during the recruiting process. They will identify sourcing tools, assist with search projects and educate hiring managers on appropriate methods for hiring. The role will be engaged in all aspects of hiring - posting a position, sourcing candidates, advertising, interviewing and making an offer. They will be knowledgeable about the types of positions in the organization and be aware of the requirements for those positions. The role will be an advisor to hiring managers, bringing best practices to the hiring process. The recruiter will also work closely with other UHR teams to ensure compensation, benefits and other aspects of hiring are integrated into the process. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Communicate effectively at all levels of a large, complex organization in both written and oral forms through phone, email, and personal interactions. Ability to deliver work on time, and to work effectively on an independent basis. Proficient ability in MS Word document creation, familiarity with MS Excel spreadsheets, email, and management report creation as needed. Physical Demands Work in a standard office environment. Able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a scanner, copy machine, and printer.
