Job Description

Are you passionate about joining a mission to teach, support, and empower women and girls to find their VOICE?

We are looking for a HR Assistant/Coordinator who will provide essential support across the full employee lifecycle. This role ensures smooth and timely HR processes, accurate record-keeping, and a positive experience for volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Draft, issue, and track employment contracts and related documents
  • Conduct pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work verification
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including sending exit surveys
  • Upload and maintain accurate job descriptions in the HR system or shared files
  • Monitor and improve HR data quality and reporting accuracy
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR and Recruitment team

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Discreet with confidential information
  • Previous HR or administrative experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Will be able to commit to 5 hours of volunteering per week, for a minimum 6 months
