Hotel Laundry Attendant
Job Description

The Hotel Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and towels are cleaned and ready for use by guests. This includes washing, drying, folding, and ironing all linens and towels. The Laundry Attendant must also ensure that all laundry equipment is properly maintained and that all laundry supplies are stocked.
Responsibilities

• Sort and wash all hotel linens and towels
• Dry and fold all linens and towels
• Iron all linens and towels as needed
• Ensure that all laundry equipment is properly maintained
• Stock all laundry supplies
• Report any equipment malfunctions to management
• Ensure that all laundry is completed in a timely manner
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
