Gutter Installation Technician- Start ASAP- Weekly Pay

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $22-$25/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm

The Gutter Installation Technician is responsible for protecting client properties from water damage by fabricating, installing, and repairing gutter and downspout systems. This role requires working with various materials and utilizing hand and power tools while observing all safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections to accurately measure for gutter and downspout installations.
• Fabricate gutters on-site, including custom-length seamless gutters, using a gutter machine.
• Install gutters, downspouts, and gutter guards on residential and commercial buildings.
• Use hand and power tools to mount hangers, drill holes, and seal all joints and end caps.
• Ensure proper water flow by correctly positioning and pitching gutters and downspouts.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing gutter systems.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment, including gutter machines.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients professionally before, during, and after installation.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Previous construction or home improvement experience, with prior gutter installation experience being a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights on ladders and roofs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Work Environment

Work is conducted on residential and commercial job sites. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, often resulting in 50-60 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. The role involves working outdoors with various materials and tools, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
