The clubs storied golf course has evolved through the hands of legendary architects A.W. The next General Manager/COO of Wykagyl Country Club will be a poised, strategic, and memberfocused leader with a passion for excellence in every facet of club operations. This individual will bring strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven record of elevating the member experience through innovation, attention to detail, and a visible, handson leadership style.

Master Planning

Wykagyl Country Club is entering an exciting phase of strategic development, with the Board and Committees engaged in longterm master planning to ensure the clubs continued excellence and relevance for future generations. Current priorities include evaluating and enhancing key facilities, improving operational efficiencies, and refining member experiences across all amenities. The next General Manager/COO will play an integral role in guiding these initiativescollaborating with leadership, staff, and members to bring the clubs strategic vision to life. Experience leading or contributing to master planning and capital improvement projects is highly desirable.

Additional Notes About Wykagyl

  • The club operates on a tenmonth schedule, with six to seven days of activity per week during the peak season.
  • Lunch and dinner service are offered five days per week in peak season and three to four days per week during the shoulder seasons.
  • Many of the clubs food and beverage, golf course maintenance, and clubhouse employees are longtenured union staff members.
  • The Club does $3 Million in Food and Beverage revenue, with food making up $2 Million of the revenue. Food Revenue breakdown is 55% la carte and 45% banquet/event.
  • The golf course averages approximately 24,000 rounds of golf per year and hosts 15 to 20 golf outings annually.
  • Wykagyl is governed by an 11member Board of Governors, with each member serving a threeyear term and chairing active committees.
  • The club has 260 bond holders and over 500 total memberships across all categories, many of which include entire families.
  • The club generates approximately $14 million in annual revenue.
  • Wykagyl Country Club operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(7) organization.

Salary and Benefits

Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Range $230,000 - $300,000 plus annual bonus
