Job Posting External Job Duties

• Use a lift truck or PTH to load and/or unload recycling.
• Drive a standard transmission truck in a safe manner in all types of traffic and weather conditions.
• Empty trash cans, haul trash.
• Ensure secure delivery of material to the destination.
• Complete paperwork for proper maintenance of daily operation of truck.
• Ensure truck is serviced at the proper intervals.
• Understand how dock plates work and operate safety gates.
• Work in unsupervised areas and be responsible for the proper use of time and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).
• Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown's safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report all unsafe conditions and do not perform any unsafe acts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Read and complete trip sheet and truck inspection sheets.
• Must be able to follow directions, read maps and road signs.
• Must be able to read, do basic math, and count.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Obtain and maintain a valid CDL issued by the State Dept. of Transportation.
