Responsibilities

• Collecting, preserving, and analyzing evidence from crime scenes or other relevant locations.
• Preparing and maintaining documentation related to investigations.
• Providing expert testimony in court.
• Working with law enforcement, legal professionals, and other relevant parties.
• Staying informed about advancements and best practices in forensic science.
• Ensuring all investigative activities are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Consulting with clients to provide advice on forensic science matters.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a forensic engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess professional engineering licensure
• Detailed understanding of forensic engineering principles and techniques.
• Ability to provide expert testimony in court.
• High level of integrity and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
• Degree in a variety of engineering sciences, or a related field.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field from an accredited University; PhD or Master's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• PE license or ability to obtain PE license
