Role Overview:

 

Sodexo is seeking an experienced  Food Operations Manager 3for the  University of Central Missouri located in  Warrensburg, Missouri. It serves more than 14,000 students from 49 states and 59 countries on its 1,561-acre campus.  University of Central Missouri  offers 150 programs of study. Sodexo at  University of Central Missouri  is responsible for Resident Dining, Retail, Concessions and Catering. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Successful candidate will have the knowledge of HACCP and safety standards, ability to control cost of goods and train staff on proper standards. Candidates should also have working knowledge of scheduling, cost control and food service operations. Seeking candidates with the ability to drive and foster an innovative team while managing high volume, and ability to work well with management team and staff.

What You Bring:
  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively 
  • have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance 
  • can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service 
  • prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
