Finance & Operations Lead

We're building Omni: a platform allowing developers to deploy applications across all rollups without fragmenting liquidity. We're looking for founding team members to help us bring this ambitious vision to life. We're a team who already built a platform that processed over $70M leading to our $18M fundraise from top investors including Pantera, Two Sigma Ventures, Coinbase Ventures alongside angel investors including Stani Kulechov (founder of Aave), Sandeep Nailwal (cofounder of Polygon) and more. In addition to this we have over $4B deposited to secure Omni on mainnet. We are growing rapidly and we need ambitious and experienced team members to join us to help scale Ethereum's future.

Mission:

We are hiring a Finance & Operations Lead to ensure Omni's operational systems scale smoothly as we grow our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Tax Payments and Compliance: Ensure timely federal, state, and local tax submissions.
• Financial Projections: Calculate monthly burn and create runway projections for the team.
• 1099 Preparation and Filing: Manage contractor w-9 collection, reconcile fiat/crypto payments, and coordinate filings with external accountants.
• Reconcile Fiat and Crypto Transactions: Oversee banking and crypto transaction record keeping; resolve discrepancies; and maintain accurate financial records.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Request missing invoices, streamline submission workflows, and troubleshoot payment issues.
• Monthly Expense Reporting: Collect all expenses from each month and share with CEO.
• System and Process Optimization: Manage tools like Xero and Coinbase, improve operational workflows, and implement automation where possible.
• Investor and Team Token Vesting: Set up infrastructure for investor and team token vesting schedules.
• Asset Distribution: Handle distribution of investor assets when vesting cliffs are reached.
• Market Maker Relationships: Negotiate and onboard new market makers.
• Team Travel: Coordinate trips end to end, including team offsites and conference travel.

Requirements:

• 24 years of experience in operations, finance, or accounting roles; experience in crypto is strongly preferred
• Proficiency with financial tools like Xero, Brex, and Mercury; familiarity with crypto platforms (e.g., Coinbase)
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks at once
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in reconciling complex transactions across fiat and crypto systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external teams

The candidate must be: Competencies:

• Analytical thinker be able to evaluate opportunities from a pragmatic and numbers driven perspective.
• Highly reliable & responsive many opportunities are time sensitive and the candidate should be able to reason through problems and make decisions within 24 hours of strategic decisions being proposed.
• A good communicator maintain consistent and concise communication with Omni's directors and partners to ensure proper, and timely operations of the organization
• Operationally excellent ensure operational deliverables are accomplished on time with high quality.
• Proactive owner actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
