WWC Engineering (WWC) is a multi?disciplinary, professional firm specializing in Civil/Site, Environmental, Land Development, Mining, Municipal, NEPA, Oil & Gas, Planning, Roads/Bridges, Surveying, Water/Wastewater and Water Resources services. Our environmental team provides environmental assessment and monitoring, geotechnical investigations & modeling, NEPA and municipal landfill design and permitting.
WWC has over 140 employees in six branch offices and has been serving the Rocky Mountain region since 1980. Our client focus is to provide innovation, quality and service to every project.
As a new Environmental Scientist at WWC Engineering, you can expect a dynamic and collaborative work environment that focuses on environmental problem?solving. Your day?to?day tasks will involve conducting field assessments, collecting environmental samples, and analyzing data to support ongoing projects. You will engage in meetings with clients to understand their needs, ensuring a customer?centric approach in your solutions. Your role will also include preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively, contributing to the integrity and quality of our work. Youll work closely with senior scientists and engineers, gaining insights into innovative environmental practices. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8?AM to 5?PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work?life balance while contributing to significant environmental initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem?solving skills are essential. You will need a solid understanding of environmental science principles and regulations, enabling you to assess various environmental conditions effectively. Excellent communication skills are vital, as youll frequently interact with clients and colleagues, translating complex environmental data into understandable insights. Adaptability will serve you well in this role, as environmental challenges can be unpredictable. Strong organizational skills will help you manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a customer?centric focus. Attention to detail is crucial, as small oversights can significantly impact the outcomes of environmental assessments. The position will involve some travel (using WWC vehicles) and thus the offer is made on the condition that you have a valid drivers license and can be covered by WWCs vehicle insurance.
