Email Marketing Specialist

Location; Culver City, CA (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Email Marketing Specialist is a vital role for our client. This role leads all HTML coding, testing, and scheduling on weekly email marketing messages. The Email Marketing Specialist designs and builds emails messages and coordinates content in partnership with internal teams. This role is responsible for implementing A/B testing strategies including segmentation, subject lines and send times. This role will also be responsible for building all eCommerce promotions in Shopify and helping with loyalty, direct mail, and SMS operations. The right candidate for this role thrives under a nimble environment also able to meet fluctuating deadlines as part of a busy direct to consumer business.

• Manage HTML coding, marketing email template management, email and SMS build and launch. Manage email file production - slicing images, uploading to server and work with digital asset manager to maintain creative files.
• Build, manage, organize, QA and troubleshoot all eCommerce promotions.
• Implement email and SMS A/B testing, including creative, segmentation, subject lines and send times, for example.
• Assist with loyalty program management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience with HTML coding for email (including mobile devices).
• 3-5 years of experience in email design (Figma / Photoshop).
• Ability to Multitask in a fast-paced environment and display follow-through and initiative.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Knowledge of Web Analytics required (Google Analytics preferred).
• Prior experience with email marketing is required (fashion/retail preferred).
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Listrak Preferred).
• Solid experience with design programs (Figma / Photoshop preferred).
• Commitment to making kindness in business a standard.
• Local candidate preferred.
