Job Title: Email Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 18 Months (with possible extension)

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on time delivery of deliverables. This one is listed first for a reason.
  • Execute email campaigns with serious customer segmentation, testing protocols, and technical execution.
  • Apply best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility.
  • Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, and ability to troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues.
  • Perform coding database tasks as required, of course.
  • Make our email the best email by modernizing and evolving of how we design, build, and deploy email.
  • Proactively improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency.
  • Be detail oriented and a self-starter.
  • Work well in a team environment and build relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in different business groups to resolve issues and develop technical solutions.
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and growing the skills of fellow team members.
  • Analyze complex business and systems requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex system issues in layperson terminology.
  • Work confidently with business partners, sometimes the most senior of the seniors.
  • Learn the business and marketing functions you support.
  • Be eager to learn from coworkers, marketing partners, C2 departments, tech platforms, and award books.
  • Approach each project with a positive, “we-can-make-this-great” frame of mind.
