Job Description
Primary Role
Support licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This entry-level position is ideal for gaining hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with installing wiring, conduit, fixtures, and electrical panels
Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools
Clean and prepare work areas before and after tasks
Help troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision
Maintain inventory of tools and supplies
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Read and interpret basic blueprints or schematics (as trained)
Skills & Qualifications
Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Good physical stamina and dexterity
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior experience or vocational training is a plus but not required
Work Environment
Indoor and outdoor job sites
May involve climbing ladders and working at heights up to 50’
