Job Title: Data Center Technician (on W2)
Location: Zebulon, NC - 5 Days Onsite (Need local Candidate)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Data Center Planning Analyst plays a critical role in the strategic planning and operational support of the organization's data center infrastructure.
• Plan and coordinate complex device installations within the data center, ensuring alignment with established business processes and industry best practices.
• Assist with the planning and design of data center layouts, including structured cabling, power distribution, and rack space allocation to promote optimal performance, resiliency, and flexibility.
• Support and help enforce compliance with the IT Data Center Security Policy.
• Work collaboratively with Data Center Services team members and cross-functional technology groups to achieve corporate project goals and infrastructure initiatives.

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences:

• Proven experience in planning data center layouts, cabling infrastructure, and/or power distribution within a data center environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of core technology concepts including networking, hardware, and data center operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience using Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, especially Nlyte or similar platforms.
