Job Responsibilities Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to integrate and uphold security best practices across all systems. Oversee and refine incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery procedures. Develop and uphold comprehensive cybersecurity policies, standards, and operating procedures to protect company information and systems. Perform ongoing assessments of security risks through vulnerability testing, threat modeling, and mitigation planning. Implement and manage enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, monitoring systems, and intrusion prevention tools. Continuously monitor network and application logs to identify, analyze, and respond to potential security events. Evaluate new and evolving cybersecurity tools and strategies to enhance the organization’s overall security maturity. Promote organization-wide security awareness through training, education, and proactive communication. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a closely related role. Demonstrated experience in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures. Proven success designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions. Strong understanding of threat analysis, mitigation, and incident response methodologies. Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Firewall Management / Web Application Firewalls (WAF) Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP) Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Identity and Access Management (IAM) / Privileged Access Management (PAM) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
