Position: Corporate Tax Director

Location: East Midlands (Hybrid 2 days in the office)

Our client is one of the UK’s top regional accountancy firms, specializing in accountancy/tax, legal services, IT support, and wealth management. They are seeking a Tax Director to lead UK corporate tax compliance, manage client relationships, and oversee projects.

With over 100 years of establishment, they serve more than 12,000 businesses and individuals. The firm offers rapid progression opportunities for candidates demonstrating relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership within the service line, aligning with company culture and values, and ensuring strategic and operational objectives are met.
• Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, offering expert tax compliance and advisory services. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning and growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify tax opportunities and risks, ensuring a comprehensive service approach.

Qualifications:

• Advanced technical knowledge in transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, and patent box.
• Strong understanding of UK corporate tax law and regulations.
• Experience in corporate tax compliance and client relationship management.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of handling multiple complex assignments.
• Qualified CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA.

While not essential, contributing to business development initiatives and expanding the corporate tax offering is encouraged.
