What You Will Bring To The Organization We’re looking for a passionate, creative problem solver with the ability to understand consumer behaviors, cultural trends, and technology, and to write across multiple voices and formats. The Copywriter should collaborate with an Art Director or Designer to deliver compelling creative solutions and be a strong presenter of ideas backed by human truths. Responsibilities Be part of creative kick-offs — concept and contribute with a wide range of ideas alongside the Art Director and the broader creative team Interpret and interrogate briefs — creating work that wows and is strategically driven and compelling, not just “cool.” Follow direction from senior creatives while providing a strong rationale behind their work Write compelling headlines, copy and content for a diverse range of work and clients including promotions, sweepstakes, weekly offers, banners, social content, video, etc. Keep a pulse on breakthrough work in the marketing and advertising space and inspire others Develop an understanding of client tone of voice and how to write for their products and brands Manage weekly content calendar alongside the Design Operation team Collaborate with Art Directors and the broader design team Attend weekly meetings, scrums and daily stand-ups Assist with writing content for presentation materials for client work and creative share-outs Proofread copy with a rigorous eye for quality and execution Contribute to the team culture through internal programs, initiatives and creative huddles Qualifications/Skills 2-4 years as a Copywriter in an agency or brand space Background in promotions, digital games, brand marketing, social and loyalty programs Strong conceptual abilities and the ability to generate thought-provoking ideas Great collaboration and teamwork skills Portfolio with examples of projects that demonstrate creative thinking Exceptional writing skills across multiple voices, with captivating headlines and engaging copy Knowledge of multiple digital platforms (from social platforms to loyalty apps and promotional sites) Program proficiencies: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerPoint Starting salary between $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 Total Rewards & Benefits Our total rewards philosophy includes compensation, benefits, recognition, learning and development, corporate culture, corporate citizenship and work-life balance.
