We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Contract Accountant to support our finance team on a temporary or project-based basis. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for performing a range of accounting duties, including reconciliations and general accounting (GL entries). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger entries.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
