The Concrete Mixer Driver safely operates a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to customer job sites. This role requires strong safety awareness, professional customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in construction environments.
Safely operate concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
Complete routine maintenance such as fueling and checking fluids, tires, and lights.
Clean mixer drum and equipment between loads.
Inspect concrete mix consistency during transport.
Provide accurate delivery documentation and return signed tickets.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, coworkers, and customers.
Navigate job sites safely and use proper judgment around obstacles.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record
Clean driving record and current DOT qualification.
Minimum 1 year of concrete mixer or commercial driving experience preferred.
Construction background is required — experience working on or around active construction sites, understanding of site safety procedures, and ability to operate in rough terrain.
Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting chutes, and using tools for cleaning and maintenance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Commitment to following safety procedures, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, and movement around heavy equipment.
Early morning shifts, potential weekend work, and overtime as needed.
